Built in 1957 but still a great tool. I'm too dependent these days on digital photography to want to go back, but for as long as it lasted the film-era was a beautiful time. In the late 1990's and early 2000's I used my Yashica Mat-124 a lot. There's something magical about 6x6 negatives. Black & white photography ALWAYS shows a world that can only exist in other dimensions, but the Roleiflex and all it's similars added an extra dimension to the works of so many great photographers, from Ed van der Elsken to Vivian Maier.
I think every photographer has reason to be grateful that they're not compulsory anymore, but for a change the use of one of these old treasures is still a valuable experience...
